Echoes Vessel

Overhead, the albatross hangs motionless upon the air
And deep beneath the rolling waves, in labyrinths of coral caves
The echo of a distant time comes willowing across the sand
And everything is green and submarine

Vessel, electroformed copper and enamel.

A wax vessel plated with copper until a thick, stable surface is achieved. The wax is then melted away to leave only an echo of the original. Where the exterior bubbles out, the interior enamel bubbles in, creating a coral-esque landscape.
